Project of the Month November Winner
Congratulations Directions and Designs
Here is a 3/4" thick all glass table top and base with flat polished edges that was taken right out of our "The Complete Guide to Glass Tables and Tops" section of St. Louis Beveler's web site. Lara and Tom were able to scroll through the website showing their customer an array of designs until the customer said BINGO. She chose a Victorian style top made to her size, it was perfect. Then Lara designed the all-glass legs that had UV gluing involved. Their customer was thrilled. Good job Lara at Directions in Designs and Tom at Barron Mirror Glass & Door.
Bar Mirror
This 1” beveled radius top mirror was made to fit an area behind a bar. This mirror had a cool sandblast design set into the middle of it to create a logo that names this bar. Remember, sandblasted design on mirror should be blasted on the back side. This gives the design a beautiful crisp, sharp look.
Bar Top
The designer came up with this elevated glass bar top on standoff barrels. We had nothing to do with the standoffs, but did provide the sandblasted glass, cut to the exacting dimensions given. This ½” glass was cut, polished, and sandblasted on all sides, giving this top a beautiful contemporary look.
Arch Mirror
Here is a job we did 25 years ago and it still looks awesome today. This 14-section arched mirror design has definitely stood the test of time. The job consists of ¼” clear mirror with 1” beveled edges and the top 5 mirrors are all radius beveling. The craftmanship of cutting these mirrors has to be spot on in order to have all the pieces come together to create this gorgeous look.
Gym Wall
This company’s customer wanted a somewhat see through design on their home gym’s glass wall. The one they chose is beautiful!! We sandblasted the glass before installation and sealed it as well. Sealing the sandblast is very important! This makes the glass much easier to keep clean and maintain.
Arch Mirror
This is a fantastic 3 layered arch over a fireplace that consists of 26 separate sections of mirror. The first layer is ¼” black mirror with 1” beveled edges. The second layer is bronze mirror with 1” beveled edges and then the top layer is clear mirror, again with 1” beveled edges. All pieces of mirror have both straight-line beveling as well as radius beveling.
Bar Mirror Logo Etch
Here’s a mirror that we did 100% of the work on. Of course, we did not install it (we don’t do that). We started off with a mirror cut to size then added 4” bronze overlays around the mirror with mitered corners. We centered a 2” clear beveled overlay on the bronze overlay to give this mirror a gorgeous frame. This client lives on a 27-hole golf course and he wanted his bar to be called the 28th hole. We helped design the logo and sandblasted it on the mirror on the back side to avoid a double image that a front side blast would have given.
Coffee Table
This designer came up with a one of a kind, unique coffee table design that couldn’t have been purchased from any catalog online or brick and mortar store. It is a multi-level table made all out of ¾” thick glass with flat polished edges. Certain pieces are put together with UV glue so that it could be an “all glass” build with no connectors or screws to show.
Bathroom Triple Mirror
This company ordered three mirrors to their exact specifications with some cropped corners and a hole drilled for an outlet as well as light fixtures. They also ordered 3” bronze beveled overlays that were installed on the jobsite, but we could have set them for them is they had wanted.
Beveled Bathroom Mirror
This company custom ordered a mirror with 1” beveled edges and two holes drilled in the mirror for light fixtures to be mounted. This mirror was not an exact rectangle and had to be cut out of square to fit the area exactly. This company’s measurements were spot on. It’s a great look.
Shower Door Design
Here is a client who wanted a design on their new shower doors. We worked with our customer and helped them find a look that knocked their socks off!! We sandblasted this design on our customer's glass, but we could have easily ordered it all for them. This pattern came from one of our many design books.

Congratulations Koonse Glass
Here is a glass diameter table top that we made for Koonse glass. it is 3/4" thick glass top with a 1" bevel around and custom leaf designed that we drew for them that match her design in her chairs. Koonse's customer was very particular about the design she wanted blasted into her table. After she approved our drawing, we delivered the finished product within the next three weeks. Orders like this can normally be delivered sooner but this design took a little extra care in detail. We were given five stars from Koonse's customer. Congratulations Tom!

Congratulations Petra Liuz Arts
This is a 1/2" think six sided all glass plaque. We were able to make this to the exact specification provided. We cut, polished, and beveled all the edges. Drilled four holes for hanging and sandblasted all the lettering as well as an angel below. Then we filled in all the lettering with black paint, leaving just the angle with the sandblasted frost. This is what it looked like after they installed it with stand-offs. Great job Ripa!
